Thumbelina.

This illustration is from the Hans Christian Andersen story, “Thumbelina”, the quote reads; “The sun shone down on the water making it as bright as liquid gold. And now she took off her sash and tied one end of it around the butterfly, fastening the other end firmly to the leaf. On floated the leaf, faster and faster Thumbelina went with it.”

The painting has been painted using acrylic paint on a wood board.
